Breast Cancer Screening Update
There has been a great deal of recent controversy surrounding the latest U.S Preventive Services Task Force recommendation statement regarding routine mammograms. A key point to stress is that the task force is not recommending against mammography but that it hopes the new guidelines will lead more women to make their decisions based on their personal circumstances, including family history and personal preference.
