Quality

When you need healthcare, you want a partner you can trust — a partner who's proven, time and time again, that their priority is delivering you the very best care.

Our doctors, nurses and clinical staff have earned national recognition in independent, third-party evaluations for their expertise and high-quality care delivery. And our patient outcomes consistently exceed world-class standards.

In everything we do, we put your health and safety first. That's why our quality and safety performance measurements repeatedly surpass national benchmarks.

Among our recognitions, we've earned:

  • Four consecutive Magnet® designations, an achievement shared by fewer than 5% of hospitals
  • The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Lantern Award for exceptional and innovative performance in our Mountain View emergency department
  • Leapfrog Fall 'A' Hospital Safety Grade at both our Mountain View and Los Gatos hospitals
  • Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Stroke Care
  • Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Sepsis Care

In 2023, we were named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals by PINC AI and Fortune, and one of the World's Best Hospitals and Best Hospitals for Maternity Care by Newsweek. We also earned the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 5-Star Hospital Rating for a fourth consecutive year.
